Ingredients for Granny’s pie
- 400g puff pastry
- 2 eggs
- 400g Ricocrem ricotta cream
- icing sugar.
Preparation of Granny’s pie
Beat the eggs until they are frothy. Add the ricotta cream and beat again until the mixture is smooth and uniform. Roll two thirds of the puff pastry on a board and then place in a dish that has been buttered and floured, piercing only the base with a fork. Pour the ricotta cream mixture onto the pastry base and smooth it out well. Roll the remaining third of pastry and cut into strips to decorate the tart. Cook in an oven preheated to 160-170°C for about 35 minutes, wait till it cools to turn out and dust with icing sugar.
